One of a kind letter responding to an autograph request. This letter is dated Sept 9, 1960. Gardner won 20 games one season in the Royals system before hurting his arm and being out of Baseball. A tragic tale detailed in the letter shown along with the details of his death report. Bruce committed suicide on the USC Baseball Field in 1971. A rare signature from a man who was oh so close to being a star.
